MaiLi Pitts & Emalee Pennington were at the Capitol acting as honorary Secretary of State students!
These amazing students worked with state officials, their amazing teachers and the County Clerk's office to register at least 85% of their Senior Class to vote and have qualified to win the Jennings Randolph Award from the West Virginia Secretary of State's Office!

SV CTE Entrepreneurship students pitched and presented to the CK Business Association this Tuesday and answered questions from the association members. We are so proud of our students for representing their program and school so well with their impressive communication skills and business knowledge.

Students in the GYO program discuss opportunities in the teaching profession and all the benefits including paid internship opportunities e-bikes still in high school. They also talked about the brand new ECCAT program for early childhood classroom teaching assistants. Students - please see your counselor if you are interested in either program.
Students in the Entrepreneurship & Innovation CTE program build and test planes. Advanced students in the program judged them on a variety of criteria.
Students in Entrepreneurship & Innovation spoke to all the 9th and 10th grade students today about their program as well as answered questions regarding how to start a successful business.

SVHS Speech and Debate team traveled to Wheeling Park High Winter Classic Speech and Debate Tournament and competed against 15 high schools and 233 competitors. Macy Smith won 6th place in Impromptu speech.
